Thornybush Chapungu Tented Bush Camp
Chapungu is the Shona name for the Bateleur Eagle, the majestic bird that quarters the skies above this tented camp nestled deep in the bushveld of Thornybush.
Enjoy the elegance and style of a bygone 5era combined with all the trappings and convenience of modernity. Tranquil and intimate, the 8 en-suite air conditioned tents are washed with afternoon sunlight and colour, and offer outstanding bushveld views from their private decks, each with an outdoor bath. Situated a few minutes drive from Thornybush Game Lodge, where extensive Spa Treatments are available to all Chapungu Tented Bush Camp guests.

Thornybush Game Lodge
Elegant and exclusive, Thornybush Game Lodge offers the complete package for individual guests, family holidays, corporate getaways, small groups or wedding extravaganzas. Exhilarating dawn and dusk safaris, an exclusive onsite spa, gourmet cuisine, the world’s finest wines and sublimely luxurious accommodation await the discerning traveler at Thornybush Game Lodge. A fully-equipped conference centre for sixty delegates completes the picture.
Up to forty people can be accommodated in air-conditioned luxury at Thornybush Lodge, in eighteen luxury suites and two generously proportioned family suites.
The luxury suites are superbly equipped and furnished in the lavish style befitting this five-star lodge. Calming, muted tones and dark wood are used throughout to enhance the tranquil atmosphere of your surroundings, and the furnishings and accoutrements are of the highest standard. The en-suite bathroom features a double basin, large bath overlooking the savannah, indoor and outdoor showers.
All the suites have private wooden decks, with comfortable seating, overlooking the reserve and waterhole. Here you can take some time-out to gather your thoughts, catch forty winks or update your journal, while enjoying the benefits of fresh air, sunshine and peaceful surroundings.
The family suites feature a private plunge pool on the deck. Another extra in these units is the lounge which has a sleeper couch to accommodate two children. These large villas cater for a maximum of two adults and two children younger than twelve, or three adults. Apart from being more spacious, the family suites are furnished and decorated in the same opulent style as the single suites.
A number of activities are arranged for children at Thornybush Game Lodge, sign your kids up for the ‘Ranger in Training’ program when booking your accommodation, and they will enjoy fun educational activities throughout your stay.

Thornybush Simbambili Sabi Sand

Get to Thornybush either by scheduled daily flight to Eastgate Airport, or charter a private aircraft directly into one of the reserves two airfields. Flights take about an hour. If you are coming in by road you will be traveling on a private shuttle or driving yourself. Drive time is between 5 – 7 hours depending on which Thornybush entry gate you are using.
You can chill at your lodge, with your favourite cocktail, and watch the wildlife pass you by. Or you can participate in dawn and dusk safaris in an open vehicle with fully qualified rangers and trackers. Bush walks are an option for the more adventurous.
Tanda Tula
The first East African styled, luxury tented safari camp.
Located in the heart of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park, in 1976 Tanda Tula Safari Camp became the first East African styled, luxury tented safari camp in South Africa.
Today, Tanda Tula consists of two exclusive tented camps: Tanda Tula Safari Camp and Tanda Tula Field Camp.

MalaMala Game Reserve consistently produces the most exciting wildlife experience this side of the equator!
The Safari Industry’s blueprint to the luxury photographic safari, MalaMala has been custodian of this massive thriving tract of land since 1927.
MalaMala Game Reserve is the largest private Big Five game reserve in South Africa. Comprising 13 300 ha (33 000 acres), MalaMala shares a 19 km (12 mile) unfenced border with the world-renowned Kruger National Park, and lies strategically sandwiched between the National Park and the Sabi Sand Reserve.
The camp is unfenced – an oasis in the middle of the bushveld. Every aspect of the Main Camp and Sable Camp is designed to appreciate and enjoy the view of the surrounding wilds. Pathways wind their way along the perimeter of the camp to reveal individual ochre colored units tucked into the greenery which flanks the Sand River. Massive trees and rolling green lawns are filled with birdsong, with the occasional antelope or elephant which seeks the succulence of greenery.
Londolozi
Londolozi Founders Camp
Founders Camp honors past Guests and staff who have contributed to building Londolozi. It is their efforts which have distilled the legacy of the past 30 years into a common mission.
Enchanting, intimate and child-friendly, Founder’s Camp is ideally situated to provide an insider’s view of the secrets of river life. Ten idyllic superior chalets, repose in the shade of ancient ebony and matumi trees along the banks of the Sand River.
This is safari in the classic style, replete with classic black and cream ticking fabric and original mahogany beds. Deep leather couches, military chests, compass safari lamps and a riverside lounge sala, create a mood of easy luxury and laid back welcome for discerning families and travelers.
Londolozi Pioneer Camp
Pioneer Camp is the most secluded of Londolozi’s Luxury camps. Set amongst the dappled shade of 500 year old ebony trees, the three luxury suites and generous bush home central area is the culmination of four decades of design experience in the safari industry. The three private suites have superb river views and are perfect for honeymoons and private getaways. Focused on multi-generational family travel, this adaptable camp can also be converted into a private bush home for family groups of 6 – 12 people through linking glass sky walkways into interconnected family units. The spacious entrance-halls, are decorated with a Ralph Lauren feel. Clean lines, modern and sophisticated with floor to ceiling glass sliding panels which frame the wilderness views beyond.
The bathrooms are classic Victorian with modern accents in the marble, chrome and mahogany finishes. Throughout the camp there is a pervading sense of history thanks to faithfully restored memorabilia of photographs, old suitcases, silver, crystal glass and gramophones. Everything about Pioneer Camp is deeply personal and provides a romantic backdrop to the adventures of a new generation of sophisticated travellers.
Londolozi Private Granite
The Private Granite Suites offer an extraordinary experience for the exclusive use of six Guests.
Bold, inspiring materials mirror the extrusion of granite rocks that flank the camp while conveying the raw essence of Africa. A palette of silver, charcoal and elephant grey in a range of sumptuous materials creates an elegant and contemporary setting in each expansive suite.
The emphasis is on space, light and privacy while blurring the barrier between inside and out. A seamless integration with nature is achieved with large doors and windows all opening directly onto the Sand River.
Each suite has a private, heated swimming pool.
Private Granite Suites can be booked individually or as a private camp for six Guests, making it ideal for honeymooning couples or small groups celebrating special occasions.
The Private Granite Suites do not accommodate children under the age of 16, unless guests book the camp exclusively.
Londolozi Tree Camp

Tree Camp embodies the very essence of Londolozi’s continuous striving to transcend and redefine the journey to the wilderness.
This is a place of connoisseurship, leopards, orchids, lanterns and lead wood trees. Guests spend lazy afternoons on their decks, champagne in hand as they survey the ancient landscape, elephants feeding below in the river.
Elegance and simplicity are the hallmarks of the Tree Camp sanctuaries. In every detail and feature, from the private swimming pools and contemplation decks (salas) to the Ralph Lauren wallpaper and chocolate plaited leather beds, this exclusive camp provides a matchless showcase of African excellence.
Tree Camp does not accommodate children under the age of 16, unless guests book the camp exclusively.
Londolozi Varty Camp
Eight chalets and two superior chalets.
The campfire has burned here for over 86 years making Varty Camp the symbolic heart and soul of Londolozi.
The décor echoes the same tones of the owners private homes and their continuing love affair with the earth.
All rooms have private swimming pools framed by timber decks that overlook the riverine bush. The living spaces are raised off the ground and shaded under a cathedral of trees. The camp has a pleasingly down-to-earth quality and the emphasis on family heritage means that children always have a place at Varty Camp.
Varty Camp is also home to the original Sparta Hunting Camp, our boutique, the Cardio Vascular Room, Massage Treatment Room and our Wine Cellar. Guests from all Camps are invited to make use of these facilities.

Singita Boulders Lodge
Guests can enjoy wrap-around views from most parts of the natural stone lodge, and the lookout deck offers the perfect spot from which to observe wildlife drawn to the Sand River. The quiet pond alongside the thatched lounge area allows the light and the landscape inside to the wide open spaces, where straw baskets, neutral shades and textured fabrics complement wooden furniture.

The secluded thatched suites are the epitome of elegant comfort, with rooms styled with an eclectic mix of colors, fabrics and textures. From the vast wooden deck to the pool overlooking the Sand River, it’s not uncommon to see elephant, buffalo and antelope grazing only meters away at any time of day. Lion Sands Tinga Lodge
Tinga Lodge has nine private suites, making it a very personal experience. Tinga exudes the atmosphere of a classic safari lodge. The thatched cathedral-like entrance leads through to the colonial comfort of the lounge, which opens onto the massive wooden deck overlooking the Sabie River. Built around an enormous Jackalberry tree which is reputed to be over 200 years old, the deck affords magnificent views of the Sabie River, and regular sightings of the resident wildlife, including members of the Big Five.
Our staff are often called mind readers, sometimes saints and quite frequently invited to go back home with our guests (an invitation which they politely decline). They make it possible for guests to surrender, with every need taken care of and the guests’ comfort their first priority.

Jock Safari Lodge is nestled where the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers flow as one, situated in the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park. The lodge offers 6,000 hectares of exclusive traversing rights in an area of the park which is celebrated for the Big Five game viewing.
