Saxon Boutique Hotel, Villas and Spa – Johannesburg

The Saxon is an exclusive private retreat in Sandhurst, Johannesburg. The entrance exudes an air of quiet majesty with its sweeping feature staircase and spectacular chandelier. Looking towards the Oprah Lounge, Piano Lounge, Cigar Lounge, and Saxon Qunu Grill, the neutral shades of the interior reflect the tones and textures of Africa. The central point of the Saxon is the impressive infinity pool. The pool terrace is the ideal relaxation area for spending leisure time, taking in the superb sunset views and admiring the well-stocked Koi pond. Five hundred, the Saxon’s restaurant on the first floor, offers superb views of the evening skyline and takes guests on a unique experiential dining journey.

Drenched in warm African sunlight, and luxuriously furnished in the Saxon’s signature African style, the Luxury Suites exude an atmosphere of elegant tranquillity. Serene in marble and light wood, the décor brings in subtle geometric prints and plush furnishings interspersed with novel Eastern influences and African artifacts. The suite has a king-size bed, a separate bathroom with bath and walk-in shower.
The shutters open to views of the garden, city skyline, and pool terrace.

Option includes: Accommodation, breakfast, full mini bar and snacks, wi-fi, use of SPA hydro facilities, 24-hour butler service, 24-hour fitness centre access, complimentary sparkling wine on arrival

Sabi Sabi Selati Camp – Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve

Sabi Sabi’s intimate all-suite Selati Camp is the most unforgettable of all African experiences. It offers the perfect accommodation for travellers looking for a romantic luxury safari lodge in South Africa. Selati is furnished with a historic railway theme and colonial charm and is meticulously created as an authentic home in the bush. The railway theme extends from the original steam engine name plates, signals and shunter’s lamps lighting the way to your suite, to interesting memorabilia and other collector’s pieces in each room. Originally created without electricity to preserve the ambience, Selati Camp has now installed overhead fans, air-conditioning and all the trimmings expected from a luxury safari lodge. Nights at Selati are quiet, intimate and possessed of a rare magic. Under the spectacular canopy of the Southern night sky the camp is still romantically lit by the gentle flicker of oil lamps and lanterns, and the warm glow of fires.

Fashioned in a colonial “Out of Africa” style, this exclusive lodge comprises eight opulent thatched suites, each with full bathroom en-suite and private alfresco shower nestled under majestic indigenous trees. World-class cuisine is served on wooden thatched decks built alongside the Msuthlu riverbed, in the open air “boma” or in the “farmhouse kitchen”.

Option includes: Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, boma dinner, selected beverages, day and night game drives, walking safaris, return airstrip transfers and VAT
Option excludes: Spa treatments at Amani Spa, cellar wine collection, premium brands, curio shop purchases, telephone calls, laundry

Table Bay Hotel – Cape Town

The Table Bay is situated adjacent to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront shopping and entertainment complex overlooking the Cape Town harbor, five minutes from the city center and 25 minutes from the airport. The interior of the hotel presents a kaleidoscope of impressions, from the European marble mosaic of the entrance court to the intricate parquet floor of the foyer framed by the full-scale drama of Table Mountain, with the activity of the harbor in the foreground. Below the foyer to the south, is the grand lounge with its cathedral ceiling and twin fireplaces. A nearby dock, capable of accommodating an ocean liner, is at the threshold of the restaurant. The restaurant has a private dining bay and wine cellar, and panoramic views of the mountain range and harbor.

The Table Bay Hotel is synonymous with luxurious style and opulence, and the rooms reflect this beauty in their décor and furnishings. Each of these luxury rooms contains either 2 twin beds alongside each other or a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with marble-topped vanity and a large walk-in shower.
