Itinerary Breakdown
Day 1
Arusha → Lake Manyara region
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Day 2
Lake Manyara National Park
Depart for Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch. Afternoon game drive of Lake Manyara National Park, with the possibility of sighting the famous tree-climbing lions. Here you can see a variety of habitats and diverse animals and birds. Witness the large flock of flamingoes descending on Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti. Lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive of Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at a Serengeti lodge.
Day 4
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, full day game drive in Serengeti (with picnic lunch). Here can be found the largest concentration of plain animals – 4 million and 500 species of birds. You can hope to see predators chasing their prey and enjoying their kill, and the scenery is spectacular. Dinner and overnight at your luxury tented camp.
Day 5
Serengeti National Park
Another full day game drive in the Serengeti with (picnic lunch).
Day 6
Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge
After breakfast, morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. After lunch, depart for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, site of archeological findings, where traces of pre- historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago have been discovered.
Day 7
Ngorongoro
After breakfast, full day tour of Ngorongoro. Here you can see a spectacular concentration of wildlife, including the big five. Drive across the dense forest and near the Soda Lake and enjoy viewing a variety of bird life. Ascend to the lodge from the 2000ft. deep crater. Picnic lunch on the way.
Day 8
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire. Lunch at a Tarangire Lodge. Afternoon game drive of Tarangire National Park. During the dry season, Tarangire is spectacular in its concentration of wildlife. Many of the migratory species come back to the permanent waters of the Tarangire river, from which the park derives its name. Large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, eland, and oryx gather until the beginning of the rains when they migrate to other areas for grazing. Dinner and overnight in Tarangire.
Day 9
Zanzibar – Stone Town
After breakfast, short game drive of Tarangire National Park. Depart for Arusha. Lunch in Arusha. Depart for Arusha airport Check-in for your domestic flight to Zanzibar. Transfer to a boutique hotel in Stone Town.
Day 10
Zanzibar – Stone Town
Day in Stone Town. Optional tours in Zanzibar-city tour/Jozani forest/Prison isand/Spice tour etc. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 11
Zanzibar – coast
Transfer to a luxurious beach resort located on the beautiful North or East Coast of the island. Dinner and overnight at resort.
Day 12 & 13
Zanzibar – coast
Relaxation at the beach resort with the option of various activities and excursions.
Day 14
Dar-es-Salaam
Transfer to Dar-es-Salaam by light aircraft. Overnight at hotel on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 15
Dar-es-Salaam
Transfer to Dar-es-Salaam International Airport for your international flight.
